Neon Dust Rally

Neon Dust Rally is an arcade racer that gets out of its own way fast. You tilt to steer or use on-screen buttons, and the whole thing is built around holding drifts through long sandy corners. Chain enough drifts and your car glows, which is pure dopamine.

Tracks are short loops, perfect for a quick race while the kettle boils. There's a career ladder of cars to unlock, each handling differently enough that you have to relearn your lines. The tilt steering felt twitchy at first but a quick settings tweak fixed it.

No microtransactions got in my way, which is rare for this kind of game. The soundtrack is a loop of synthy stuff that I somehow never got sick of. It's not a sim, it's a toy, and it knows it.
