Racing games worth your commute
A good mobile racer has to work in bursts. You get a station's worth of time, maybe three minutes, and the game needs to give you a full satisfying race in that window. Most don't. A few do.
Neon Dust Rally is my current pick. Its tracks are short loops built around drifting, and a single race is over before your stop. The tilt steering felt off at first but there's a sensitivity slider that fixes it in seconds.
The thing I value most is the lack of nonsense. No ads shoved between races, no waiting for a car to 'recharge.' You race, you unlock, you race again. That's how it should be.
If you take public transport daily, a tight arcade racer earns its spot on your phone. Just set your controls before you need them, because fiddling with settings on a moving train is its own kind of chaos.
